About

I am an incoming first-year graduate student in biomedical engineering working on translational research using biomaterials for wound healing. I’m particularly interested in how more traditionally mechanical engineering concepts like fluid mechanics and material science translate to biological systems. This research is similar to projects I worked on during my undergraduate program and has allowed me to deepen my knowledge in the field. Apart from project-specific knowledge, I am a quick and adaptable learner and am capable of working on a wide variety of projects.

I hope to continue making a difference in the coming years at UVA and expand my horizons to explore my passion for translating cutting-edge biomaterial research into patients.
